ESPN came to Texas high school football on Thursday night to broadcast the 4-5A Division I clash between Red Oak and Lake Belton, a game that featured a bevy of the highest-rated prospects in the state. Red Oak pulled off a 38-34 win.
The highest-rated prospect in the game was five-star Lake Belton 2024 WR Micah Hudson, who is considering programs like Texas, Texas Tech, Alabama and Ohio State, shocked onlookers with a dazzling performance. Hudson had three catches for 149 yards and a touchdown set up by an open-field juke move that went viral on social media.
On the flip side, Red Oak used a near last-second touchdown to four-star, No. 8-rated 2025 WR Taz Williams to force overtime and would ultimately walk out with a 37-34 win. Williams is currently the most-offered prospect in TXHSFB in the Class of 2025.
Red Oak QB Reggie Moody passed for 427 yards and six touchdowns.
