Report: Another top wide receiver no longer at Rice

It's reported that Cedric Patterson has become the second potential starting receiver to leave the Rice Owls this offseason after Bradley Rozner.

Another one of Rice’s anticipated starting receivers is gone.

First reported by The Roost, Cedric Patterson III is no longer listed on the Owls’ active roster as of Tuesday afternoon.

Patterson had 583 yards receiving and six touchdowns during his first season in Houston after transferring in from New Mexico. He was set to play a bigger role this season following the transfer of Rice’s leading receiver in 2022, Bradley Rozner, just last week.
