It was no easy feat, but by mid-afternoon on Saturday, The Woodlands Highlanders fought and clawed their way to the Adidas 2016 State 7-on-7 Division I Championship in College Station.
When the dust settled, The Woodlands had defeated Dickinson 32-26, capturing the first-ever state 7-on-7 title by a team from Montgomery County.
