Drones is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect and was one of the top performers at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 in Houston in 2019.
Kyron Drones Scouting Report: Drones a proven winner with a state title under his belt. Drones is a pass-first quarterback who is a strong and effective runner when he pulls the ball down. He is a very smart and cerebral quarterback. He reads defenses well in the RPO scheme and has that arm to push the ball down the field.
Drones is a verified 6'2 and added the necessary strength and weight to turn himself into a top prospect at the position as he developed from his sophomore to junior year. The results of his hard work were instantly noticeable when he stepped on the field in 2019. He is one of the most physically imposing quarterbacks you will see.
A lot of people are sleeping on him at the position, but he has a blend of skills that Baylor fans should be excited about.

Drones helped lead Shadow Creek to the 5A-D1 state title and earned Offensive MVP honors in the championship game. He was named as the 10-5A Overall MVP and was a third-team all-state selection.
