ATH Bryce Anderson (2022) - Beaumont West Brook: Anderson is a known commodity in recruiting circles, but he has yet to make a significant impact at the varsity level. He is one of the most talented, if not THE most talented player in his city. Anderson scored 62 touchdowns as the JV quarterback in 2018 but is also a head-hunting safety, so he could have a major impact on either side of the ball.  

OT Kelvin Banks Jr. (2022) - Summer Creek: Banks will be one of the most heavily recruited offensive linemen in the state by the time he signs a letter of intent. Arizona State, Florida State, Oklahoma State, and Utah have offered, but this is a "national" recruit playing for one of the state's top teams. Look for him to pick up ain in-state P5 offer soon.  

DE Alec Bryant (2020): Shadow Creek: Out of all the recruiting services DCTF ranks Bryant the highest at No. 24, but when you are the best pass-rusher in the state you are typically rated much higher. Bryant, who is verbally committed to LSU, is a physically imposing edge-bender with great hands and burst off the ball. Could he make the type of impact that gets him into the five-star discussion? 

QB Kyron Drones (2021) - Shadow Creek: Drones will be taking over the offense from a very electric athlete, but he will be bringing a completely different skill set to the offense. He has the size and arm strength of a P5 recruit and has already started to garner a lot of college attention. Texas Southern has extended an offer, but if things go right, he could emerge as one of the more highly recruited players in Houston.

QB Quinn Ewers (2022) - Southlake Carroll: The Dragons offense brings back a lot of talented players, but ultimately the team's success will be Ewers' arm and the potential he has to produce offense without TJ McDaniel. That is a lot of pressure to put on a sophomore, but he is already considered as one of the top QB prospects nationally with offers from schools like Texas A&M and Ohio State. Could Ewers be the type of component that pushes SLC into the state title weekend?   

QB Carsten Groos (2020) - Austin Anderson: A quarterback with the requisite size, footwork, accuracy, and intelligence to run a multi-spread college offense. Groos has Anderson poised for a run at the playoffs, and his offer list could start to take shape around that projected success.   

CB Deuce Harmon (2021) - Denton Guyer: A defensive back with swift feet, a sturdy build, and solid technique. Three offers are in (SMU, TCU, Illinois State) but his list will hit double-digits sooner than later. The younger brother of De'Vion Harmon, who is on a basketball scholarship at Oklahoma. 

OT Andrej Karic (2020) - Southlake Carroll: The Texas commit is a strong candidate to move up the rankings ladder. Karic is a true tackle projection who has developed physically in the off-season. His an industry-wide rated three-star but don't be surprised to see him as a consensus four-star by the time the ratings are done.

ATH Joseph Manjack (2021) - Tomball Memorial: Manjack is one of the area's most talented athletes who has developed into a potential top recruit at wide receiver. Playing opposite of Logan Kyle should give the Wildcats one of the best WR tandems in the state. Colorado has already extended an offer, but the floodgates could open with a strong start to the season.  

RB Kaden Meredith (2021) - Longview: All the eyes will be on Haynes King early in the season, and this will give Meredith the perfect opportunity to establish the Lobos rushing attack. Meredith hasn't picked up significant college attention yet, but he is a silky smooth runner with quality testing numbers. It shouldn't take long for him to pick up more looks.
