Weatherford 2020 QB Ken Seals (6'3, 202) announced a commitment to Vanderbilt this evening.
Seals picked the Commodores over offers from schools like Montana State, UTEP, Minnesota, Nevada, Florida Atlantic, N.C. State, Cincinnati, Kansas, Boston College, Rutgers and Princeton.
"Just got off the phone with HC (Derek) Mason and I’m honored to accept their offer and commit to Vanderbilt," Seals confirmed.
Seals missed his sophomore season due to UIL transfer rules but bounced back with a huge junior year in 2018.
After an 0-10 season in 2017, Seals passed for 2,654 yards and scored 25 touchdowns to help lead the Kangaroos to a 4-7 record and an appearance in the TXHSFB playoffs.
"You know, it was hard last season watching my guys go out there and struggle knowing that I could help and make a difference if I was out on the field," Seals reported.
Seals was an All-Combine selection following a strong performance the All-American Combine in January and is a four-time member of the U.S. National Team (International Bowl).
