Klein Cain junior Jacob Munoz was preparing to return to the football field after defeating Philadelphia Chromosome Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in a two-year battle with the cancer, when he got the news last December. He had relapsed.

“The news was devastating to us,” Jacob’s mother Yvette Munoz said. “He had already gone through a very long recovery and had rung the bell after defeating it the first time.”
