Sam Houston safety Da'Marcus Crosby II, a First-Team All-Conference USA selection in 2023, has announced his entry into the transfer portal.

Crosby was an all-conference player at Kilgore College before transferring to Huntsville. He totaled 55 tackles and led the Bearkats with four interceptions. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound safety is a twitchy athlete who sticks his nose in the run game, and should yield Power Four offers in the portal.

Senior defensive back Dakerric Hobbs also entered the transfer portal last night. They are the first two Sam Houston players to transfer this offseason.
