DAVE CAMPBELL’S TEXAS FOOTBALL AND WHATABURGER TEAM UP TO UNVEIL THE 2024 WHATABURGER SUPER TEAM BALLOT

DALLAS – Dave Campbell’s Texas Football and Whataburger are proud to honor the best and brightest stars in Texas high school football with the announcement of the 300-player ballot for the 2024 Whataburger Super Team. Texas high school football fans nominated more than 4,000 players on TexasFootball.com, and now must narrow the field from 300 players to the 40 honorees.

Fans can now vote for which players they believe deserve a spot on the 2024 Whataburger Super Team by voting at TexasFootball.com/WhataSuperTeam.

Headliners of the 2023 Whataburger Super Team include Texas edge rusher Colin Simmons (Duncanville), Florida quarterback DJ Lagway (Willis), Oklahoma running back Taylor Tatum (Longview), Texas A&M athlete Terry Bussey (Timpson) and Georgia linebacker Justin Williams (Conroe Oak Ridge).

“Some Texas traditions just belong together—like high school football and a Whataburger No. 1 with cheese,” said Donna Tuttle, Whataburger vice president of marketing and communications. “This is our sixth year sponsoring the Super Team with Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, and we’re excited to celebrate these talented young athletes alongside fellow fans!”

Former Super Team winners include Andrew Luck (Stratford HS, Indianapolis Colts), Kyler Murray (Allen HS, Arizona Cardinals), Garrett Wilson (Lake Travis HS, New York Jets), Marvin Mims (Frisco Lone Star HS, Denver Broncos), Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Rockwall HS, Seattle Seahawks), Jordan Whittington (Cuero HS, Los Angeles Rams), Caden Sterns (Cibolo Steele HS, Philadelphia Eagles), and DeMarvin Leal (Converse Judson HS, Pittsburg Steelers).
