PFLUGERVILLE, TX – Dave Campbell’s Texas Football is proud to announce the Weiss Wolves as the recipient of the Community Connection School of the Year Award presented by Suddenlink.
For the second consecutive year, Dave Campbell’s Texas Football and Suddenlink have partnered together to spotlight 10 Texas high school football communities with the Community Connection School of the Week Award. As a part of the recognition, longtime Pflugerville resident, Tammy Coffin, was recognized for her service to the Pflugerville community on a special Zoom call and was presented with the Community Connector Award presented by Suddenlink. Dave Campbell’s Texas Football and Suddenlink also produced a commemorative digital custom magazine spotlighting the Pflugerville community.
“At Suddenlink, we put an emphasis on connectivity because we know how important it is that our customers are connected to the people, entertainment and information they want,” said Mike Petty, regional vice president of Suddenlink. “Suddenlink is proud to work with Dave Campbell’s Texas Football to provide this opportunity for communities to rally together, especially during these times. Congrats to the Weiss Wolves and Tammy Coffin on your awards.”
For the past six weeks, fans and passionate community members from all ten towns cast more than 200,000 votes on TexasFootball.com in efforts to help lift their school to the top. As a part of the recognition, Weiss High School will receive a $2,500 donation to support the Weiss Scholarship Fund.
