Texas State could soon have a stadium sponsor.

The Texas State Board of Regents is set to vote on a potential historic naming rights deal with University Federal Credit Union (UFCU), according to the board meeting agenda.

The naming rights deal would be for 10 to 15 years for up to $24 million, pending renewals.

Bobcat Stadium would be renamed to UFCU Stadium under the rights deal.

The proposal was first made public by Katfans.com.

The vote is set to be held on May 16 during the next board of regents meeting.
